I checked into a private, apartment-style suite complete with a dreamy balcony overlooking Córdoba’s winding streets—where morning coffee quickly became a ritual. The hotel’s interior courtyard, anchored by a serene pool and an on-site restaurant/bar, felt like something from a Mediterranean daydream. It was the kind of place where you could choose to explore the city—or just stay in, glass of wine in hand, and let the calm wash over you. Design-wise, it was a blend of modern elegance and historical charm, mirroring the city itself—where centuries-old buildings surround you at every turn. And location-wise? Steps away from everything you’d want to see: the Mezquita, the Jewish Quarter, local tapas spots, and hidden alleyways that look straight out of a postcard. In the end, missing that train led me exactly where I needed to be. Santa Clara Patio Hotel wasn’t part of the plan—but it ended up becoming the highlight.
