A SLOW, STEADY - CHS Summer.

Updated: 5 hours ago

Charleston has a way of slowing you down - in the best way. I spent a summer here four years ago and fell for it immediately: salty air, cobblestone streets, and easy access to the water. I’ve made my way back more than once since.

Grab a sandwich from Ted’s Butcher Shop, toss it in my beach bag, head to the water. Mornings are for walking The Battery.

Afternoons for lounging at The Wanderer. Evenings for pickleball with a view and drinks after. No pressure, no schedule - just the city on its own terms.

Charleston moves at its own pace. Polished, confident, a little flashy - but still easy to settle into. And I’m never in a hurry to leave.
