ATX - the city that called me back

Updated: 7 hours ago

The first time I came to Austin, something in me exhaled. Not in a loud, life-altering way. It just clicked.

Morning dips at Barton Springs. Lady Bird Lake by sunset for a walk or run on the trail. Boat days on Lake Austin. Coffee on South Congress. Live music tucked into random corners.

There’s grit here - and creative energy all tangled together - and it works. People are building things. Training for something. Starting brands. Writing songs. Hosting dinners. It feels ambitious but relaxed. Driven, but not frantic. Every time I’ve left, I’ve noticed the same thing: I wasn’t ready to go.

After every visit, the same truth remained - Austin feels like home.

So now, it will be. xx
